As we look at the value creation processes, innovation is featured very strongly as the third step. To put this into perspective, our customer management module gives us a first glimpse into what service quality we offer vis-a-vis what is expected by the customer. This molds our first customer insight.

Our module on Logistics Solution Design Thinking helps us dive deeper into the customer’s experience with our product/service, and that provides us a unique perspective on how to create a product or service to solve our customer’s problems.

The supply chain solutioning module allows us to see our business model, and how we harness the different configurations of the supply chain to get the product that our customers want to them in the fastest time and at the lowest cost. Understanding this will then allow is to create the right strategic plans for the company to identify markets to enter, resources to amass, products to develop.

This therefore leads us to our next module, Innovation Management, where we start to dive deeper into costs and benefits, into valuations and industry best practices to bring our plans together to meet the needs of our customer, and to propel the business into greater growth.

This module will cover the following:

  1. Conduct cost benefit analysis
  2. Valuation methods
  3. Knowledge of existing industry practices, and
  4. Stakeholder management

And at the end of the module, trainees will be able to:

  1. Deploy resources for implementation of ideas
  2. Develop procedures for quick roll-out of ideas across entire organisation
  3. Facilitate engagement with external consultants to refine integration process of ideas
