SCALA Redeployment PCP

The RPCP is an Adapt-and-Grow initiative by Workforce Singapore (WSG). Targeted at employees who are made redundant due to business changes, the Redeployment PCP comes with salary support for 3 to 6 months. Furthermore, the redeployment PCP will be 100% Employer-based On-The-Job training and open to both PMETs and Rank-and-File employees. As more technology is adopted to lighten or even replace the physical burden of processes, jobs traditionally held by human workers will be at risk of redundancy.
The Redeployment Professional Conversion Programme (RPCP) for Supply Chain and Logistics professionals is a collaboration between SCALA and WSG to provide an alternative solution to employers: the ability to retrain hard-working and loyal employees to new roles within the same firm. The RPCP is applicable to companies undergoing transformation projects or business model changes. Furthermore, the RPCP also accepts business downturn and change of business focus as acceptable reasons for applying. This is because SCALA, WSG and MOM are committed to keeping the industry sustained and competitive in these trying times.
The RPCP works similarly to the current PCP structure, consisting only On-The-Job training. SCALA will help companes to curate the OJT blueprint for the newly redeployed roles. The programme may either be 6-months or 3-months, depending on the new job function that the redeployed individual is being deployed to.
